Helpers

Being a helper is for anyone over the age of 18. It allows people to volunteer time in a flexible way that suits them. It enables people to be involved in Scouting without the commitment of being a team member.

You may have skills or experiences you are willing to share as part of the Scouting programme. This could be speaking to groups, running an activity or workshop, helping with the website, supporting with the catering, or the planning, organisation and running of events on an "as needed" basis.

There is no requirement to have been involved in Scouting before joining. All that is required is a willingness to volunteer some time to support Scouting.
