District indoor archery range

Our District is as an Archery GB archery activity partner. The district has purchased archery equipment suitable for Cubs, Scouts and Explorers.

We have a range in Leadgate,  available to all Scout Association members, and there are three options for using it:

• Ask if a permit holder within the district is able to run a session for you and they will help where they can;

• Use your own permit holder once they have been through our standard operating procedure briefing on the use of the range and equipment;

• An adult only group, once they have been through our standard operating procedure briefing and been approved by our District Lead Volunteer.

Badge work

This activity could be a one-off or work towards these badges. It could also be used to complete the Archery GB Start Archery Course.

Cost

£3.00 per youth member for a two hour session to contribute towards consumable costs. Minimum of 6, maximum of 12.

No leader or qualification holder to accompany your cubs/scouts/explorers? No problem as these can be provided, subject to availability, to run the activity.
