1st Consett Scout Group

1st Consett Scout Group offers Scouting for young people aged 4 to 14 from Consett and the surrounding area, with activities focused on adventure, challenge, and personal development.

Scouting in Consett has a long history, dating back to 1910, and continues to thrive today. The Group now supports over 150 young people across Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, and Scouts, reflecting strong local interest and a wide range of opportunities for young people to get involved.

The Group is based at a shared Scout HQ on Constance Street, which it jointly owns and uses with 1st Blackhill Scout Group.
