There are six Scout Groups in Derwentside deliver Scouting across the district for 6 to 14 year olds.
They each operate three sections:-
Beaver Scouts 6 to 8 year olds
Cub Scouts 8 to 10½ year olds
Scouts 10½ to 14 year olds
For those over fourteen Scouting in Derwentside is provided by the district Explorer Scout Unit and Network Unit.
